It looks like a little Microsoft news escaped early today ahead of the company's press conference as Halo 4's existence was blasted on the Microsoft website briefly this morning along with talk of a remastered version of the original Halo: Combat Evolved.  The actual press conference is in about an hour, so we'll undoubtedly be hearing (and perhaps seeing) both of these titles shortly, but here at the Press The Buttons / Games Are Evil E3 headquarters command bunker (e.g., our hotel room) we've been talking about the surprise reveal and how it's not much of a surprise.  Something Halo was obviously coming out of this year's show, and while the remastered Halo was expected, Halo 4 seemed like too easy a guess for anyone to make.  It's one of those titles that the company could pull out of its pocket at any time and bring about the rejoicing fandom.  Here's hoping that this sequel brings something new to the table.
