There are lots of memorable Super NES titles, but some of them are more ambitious than others. Several games make excellent use of the 16-bit console's capabilities and still others break all of the rules to deliver a special experience thanks to extra cartridge storage, custom microchips, innovating programming techniques, and other tricks. RetroGaming with Racketboy has compiled a list of the Super NES games that push the limits of the console that makes for some interesting reading. Plenty of your favorites are there - Yoshi's Island, Secret of Mana, Donkey Kong Country, Super Mario Kart, Mega Man X2, Star Fox, etc. - along with a number of obscure titles including Rendering Ranger R2, Super Drakkhen, and Far East of Eden Zero. Not on the list? EarthBound. Oh, wait, that's right; EarthBound pushed the limits of our collective hearts. My mistake.
