Shank Soundtrack Offered As Free Download

Shank Are you interested in the upcoming downloadable title Shank from Electronic Arts and Klei Entertainment for the Sony PlayStation 3, Microsoft Xbox 360, and PC?  Have you been frothing at the mouth to possess the game's soundtrack?  Use a napkin and then head over to the Shank website where thanks to an outpouring of fan support, the developers are going to offer the entire collection of Shank music as free non-DRMed MP3s.  The first track is already up for grabs with the rest to follow shortly.  Here's the explanation behind the giveaway:

The soundtrack for the game was scored by our friends and local Vancouver musicians Vince de Vera and Jason Garner, and since we’ve been asked about it countless times, we’re going to share his work with all of you.

Thanks to everyone involved for making these tracks available.  You all know how much I love solid video game music, and since so much of it is only available through backwater unofficial channels, it's great to see a developer take the initiative and give the people what they want.  Kudos and praise all around on this one.  Shank hits digital distribution starting on August 24, 2010.
