Weekly Poll: Space Is A Busy Place
April 05, 2010
Sony's removal of the suddenly-insecure Other OS option doesn't matter to most of you, but it surprised me that it matters to a decent chunk of you out there. In hindsight, I wish I'd clarified the "Yes" options into "Yes, I run Other OS" and "Yes, I don't like the idea of removing functions" because I have no idea how many of you actually lost something important with last week's firmware update versus how many people are against the feature removal on principle. As for me, I do not (well, did not, now) use the Other OS option, but I don't like the idea of a feature being removed from my console. There's nothing I can do about it, of course, but I'm not pleased. Now I'll be ticked off for a minute or two before I go back to Just Cause 2 or any of the other PS3 games I enjoy and forget all about it. Righteous anger tends to work that way.
Enough about things being taken away. Let's focus on good things that are on the horizon. Nintendo has two expectedly stellar titles coming up in the next few months in the form of Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Metroid: Other M. Which of the two has you most excited? Let's hear your thoughts. See? I've forgotten about Other OS already.
