For the first three weeks of January I asked all of you to cast your vote for Press The Buttons in something called the Golden Retrevo Awards, and I'm happy to say that all of that voting has paid off.  PTB is one of five winners of the award in the Gaming category alongside other independent gaming blogs such as Gaming Angels, Hawty McBloggy, PS3 Vault, and Play Like A Girl.  Not bad, eh? 

This year's winners were selected by Retrevo's panel of judges and also chosen by votes from the general public.  Golden Retrevo Award winners are independent bloggers expressing fascination and enthusiasm for gadgets, gear, and technology.  Recipients of the Golden Retrevo Award will be promoted across Retrevo's site and network of over five million monthly visitors.

My goal for PTB this year is to attract even more readers, so I think 2010 is off to a good start.  Thanks again to everyone who voiced their support.  I would just be shouting into the digital darkness without all of you out there to listen and occasionally shout back.
