There's more video game archeology in action over at EarthBound Central where some unused portions of the opening demo reel from the Super NES classic EarthBound have been discovered.  Thrill as Ness and his friends wander along a never-before-seen untested path through Threed and Summers! 

Well, alright, it's really not all that thrilling.  I'm actually just sharing this to showcase the actual demo reel and its kickass music that rolls several of the game's themes into a single composition.  Chances are that if you have played EarthBound (and if you haven't, you really should) then you probably skipped right to the title screen and then on into the adventure, skipping this part of the game.  Shame on you!  This music demands to be heard (even if it is fifteen years later).
