Ghostbusters: The Video Game is less than a week away in North America now.  Can you feel the excitement?  Unfortunately, you may have to dial down that excitement if you, like me, ordered Amazon.com's exclusive Slimer Edition version of the game.  Remember the Slimer Edition?  With its big Slimer statue, Ecto-1 keychain, console decals, and Minimates figurines?  Well, those Minimates are off the table and out of the box now.  Here's what Amazon has to say about the matter via e-mail:

We wanted to let you know that the items included in the bundle have changed, and as a result, the price of the bundle has been lowered.

Unfortunately, we recently learned the Minimates we expected to offer in this bundle aren't available. We're sorry for any disappointment this causes. To help make up for this change, we've lowered the price of this bundle from $129.99 to $109.99.

This is an outrage!  I... wait a minute.  Those figurines were $20 worth of the set?  Well, then good riddance!  Hands off my Slimer though.  He'd better show up with the game.  I already have a display place of honor set aside for him.
