Sonic Is Ready To Be Unleashed After All

Sonic the Hedgehog Remember how Japan was supposedly going to get a "better" version of Sonic Unleashed next year while the rest of us were to be blighted with something buggy and otherwise unfinished?  Yeah, never mind about that.  Apparently it's just a big misunderstanding and Sega is going out of its way to clarify things.

In our previous November 7 post to this home page, we informed you that the release date of Sonic World Adventure in Japan on PS3 and 360 will be delayed. Based on that announcement, some fans living overseas have become concerned that there will be a difference in quality between the version of the game released in Japan and the version released outside of Japan.

This is not the case and we apologize for this misunderstanding.

Well, I'm glad we cleared that up.  This puts my anticipation for the game back up to "cautiously optimistic".  I'm slated to review the Nintendo Wii version of the game for Kombo, but I'm also planning on checking out the Sony PlayStation 3 version just to take in the full experience (provided that it turns out to be a solid game, of course).
