New Ghostbusters Game Continues To Impress
November 07, 2008
Speaking of Ghostbusters, there are some new screenshots of the game roaming around the Internet that show just how far it's come since the last time we saw it. These images of the Sony PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Xbox 360 version of the game look absolutely amazing and I'm hoping now more than ever that the finished product recaptures the magic of the films and even the original Activision-produced game from the mid 1980s. The game has been rescheduled to coincide with the twenty-fifth anniversary of the original Ghostbusters film, so — and this may well be the first time I allow myself to be sucked into a collector's edition of a game — why not come up with a special bundle that includes the game, the two films on Blu-ray (with extras that were skipped when the films originally came to DVD such as a commentary track and deleted scenes for the second film), maybe a soundtrack CD or art book... you know, the whole works. I bet that franchise fans of my generation would pick up such a bundle without much hesitation provided the price were fair. Now, check out these images. Click on them to see them in full resolution. These are images that need to be seen at 100% size to in order to give you the full impact.
