Live The Loving Grip Of The Pax Bisonica On Blu-ray

Street Fighter Peace will reign and all humanity will bow to M. Bison in humble high definition gratitude when the 1994 Jean-Claude Van Damme / Raul Julia film Street Fighter arrives on Blu-ray next year.  Anyone who opposes this will be destroyed.

The live-action Street Fighter movie with Jean-Claude Van Damme is on it's way to Blu-ray! It'll be in widescreen 1080p with 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio. The Street Fighter: Extreme Edition will be out on February 10, which you may note is very near the release of Street Fighter IV... With that, there's a few things SFIV related on this special edition:

  • Street Fighter IV Game Teaser Trailer
  • Street Fighter IV Anime Trailer
  • The Making of Street Fighter
  • Outtakes
  • Deleted Scenes

Are you man enough to own one of the cheesiest gaming films ever made?  I passed on Street Fighter when it was in theaters (movies based on Mortal Kombat and Super Mario Bros. left me burned, but wiser), but I eventually caught it on cable TV one rainy Sunday afternoon.  It's been a while since I've seen it, so I may have to check out this new release to at least listen to the commentary.  Actually, now that I really think about it, what this movie really needs is a Rifftrax commentary track.  What do you think, Mr. Nelson?
