Spread The Word
January 08, 2008
You may have noticed that I've been tinkering slightly with PTB's design. If you click through to an article's permalink you'll find that I've added some of those popular little buttons that makes submitting articles to social bookmarking sites so much easier. I've resisted adding these type of buttons because I feel that sites that use them tend to go overboard and include every bookmarking service that has ever existed, but one of my goals for PTB this year is to increase readership and this seems like a good first step in reaching that goal. To keep the clutter down I've added buttons that lead to the four most popular bookmarking sites (popular according to PTB's activity logs, that is). At the end of each individual blog entry you'll find submission links for Reddit, Digg, Del.icio.us, and StumbleUpon. If you use any of these sites and see something on PTB that you especially like, feel free to press the button and spread the word.
As long as I'm doing some housekeeping I should also mention that I've removed a few dead blogs from the list of links and the annual holiday wish list feature has been revamped to become a year-round general list of recommended video games across both old and new platforms. I'll be adding new items to the list as time goes on, so check it out if you haven't already.
