Blue Blur Blasts Into Brawl
October 10, 2007
Let the word go forth that Sonic the Hedgehog has been announced as a playable character in Nintendo's upcoming Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Forget that wimpy Olympics game; this is where the true character rivalry madness will be centered. Sonic has his spin dash move and, apparently, a Chaos Emerald-powered Super Sonic Final Smash attack as well. Can you feel the excitement? Can you?
The one whose Smash appearance has been most desired dashes in from far away at supersonic speed. Sonic the Hedgehog crashes headlong into battle!
Something else to consider is that since The Subspace Emissary adventure portion of the game features two player co-op play, we're finally getting the Mario and Sonic adventure for which fans have been clamoring for the last fifteen years or so. Now I'm only waiting for two more announcements before I'm completely satisfied: 1) the original classic Mega Man as a playable character, and 2) marking the game's release date as a national paid holiday so we can all stay home and play. Everything else is just icing on the fan service cake.
