Shout! Factory keeps the old cartoons coming, this time with Captain N and the new Super Mario World, otherwise known as the end of the line for both the Captain N and Super Mario animated properties.  Airing on NBC in 1991, these episodes brought Mario to Dinosaur Land to coincide with the new Super NES game of the same name (let's have a round of applause for cross-promotion) and sent the good captain into the world of reduced budgets and cheaper animation.  The DVD reaches stores in November, but after experiencing both Captain N and Sonic the Hedgehog on DVD earlier this year, I've come to believe that my memories of these shows are best left in the past with my other beloved childhood programs.  Some of this stuff just doesn't hold up over time, I'm sorry to say.
