It seems like I was supposed to be somewhere this week, but for some reason I just can't remember why.  Wasn't there some major event that the entire game industry used to go to every year about this time?  Someplace with tons of people and lots of noise and bright lights and exciting announcements and a flurry of writing and little sleep and a steady diet of greasy fast food?  Someplace where all of the other news and events in the world dropped away in favor of fun shiny things?  I just can't remember.  I'm sure it'll come to me eventually.
