National Geographic Knows Nothing

Senator Vreenak You know that article from the latest issue of National Geographic for Kids that goes on and on about the Nintendo Revolution and how new titles will work with the controller?  And how the NGK crew was invited by Nintendo test the controller?  And how existing Nintendo GameCube games will work with that new controller?  It's not on the level.  To put it more bluntly, it's not real.  It's speculation.  It's yet another set of wild rumors.  It's a fake!

But this is all just wishful thinking, according to Nintendo. "What the magazine has done is imagine how existing franchises would work with the Revolution controller, rather than actually seeing anything," a spokesperson told Eurogamer, adding: "It's all still speculation."

Don't be sucked in by the rampant speculation and gossip.  This has been a public service announcement from Press The Buttons, quashing wild unfounded rumors since March 2005.
