Hulk Smash Puny Ultimate Destruction Interview

The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate DestructionRadical Entertainment is about to unleash the Hulk for the Nintendo GameCube, Sony PlayStation 2, and Microsoft Xbox in the upcoming The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction, a sandbox-style video game in which there are plenty of missions and plot, but also massive environments for the Hulk to tear apart with his big green hands.  BonusStage.com interviewed the game's lead designer, Eric Holmes, in which current and future plans for Hulk are revealed.

This was the game we wanted to make: the ability to freely express yourself as the most powerful character on earth – yes please! The real-world fantasy setting is something that’s a natural step for the character; get Hulk out of the underground bases and into the city streets where he belongs.

Other topics discussed include the game's storyline, the voice actors who bring the Hulk and friends to life, and the possibility of porting the game to the Nintendo DS and Sony PlayStation Portable if the home console versions are successful.  It may be a stereotype to pander to the male audience, but I'd think that if Radical wanted the game to sell well, they'd include the She-Hulk character and bank on thousands of men picking up the game because of the presence of a large breasted and nearly naked woman.  Stereotypes aside, I'm scheduled to review the game for AMN near the end of the month, so stay tuned for my own thoughts regarding the Hulk's latest appearance.  It's sure to be a smashing good time.

Oh stop groaning.  You knew I was going to make that pun sooner or later.
