Halo 4 Embarks On A Mission Of Peace; How Do You Think That Will Work Out For It?

I'm not particularly a Halo fan, but I follow the franchise as someone with an interest in the storyline, but not the actual games.  I think the overall story and characters are intriguing, but since I'm not much of a first-person shooter enthusiast, I save myself the frustration and steer clear.  That said, this new trailer for Halo 4 for the Microsoft Xbox 360 coming from 343 Industries gets my attention like no other game in the series.  The initial setup feels very Battlestar Galactica meets Stargate SG-1 to me, while the actual gameplay section detailed as part of Microsoft's E3 showcase gives me a Metroid Prime vibe.  Could Halo be headed in a new direction under 343's influence?  I suppose we'll find out, but given the premise and my history with the FPS genre, I wish that Halo 4 were a movie rather than a game.  At least then I'd have a chance at finishing it!  Basically, I like what I see here, and that's a first for me and the Halo series.  Halo 4 is due out on November 6, 2012.
