Despite a few public relations misfires earlier this year, Electronic Arts and Visceral Games remain hard at work on next year's Dante's Inferno for the Sony PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Xbox 360. Now that the game is out of its beta phase and testing well, the developers are turning their attention to the fans. To that end, today at 4:00pm ET / 1:00pm PT you'll have a chance to watch Executive Producer Jonathan Knight and Senior Producer Justin Lambros discuss the creation of Inferno in a live webcast. Feel free to watch it right here if the mood strikes you.
Even with the questionable marketing attempts, I've been interested in Inferno since I saw it in action back at E3. My hope is that it meets up to its potential, but even if it does end up being a misfire, I'd like to commend EA and Visceral for adapting a classic fourteenth century allegory into a video game instead of a soulless cash-in summer action movie.
