Cobra Rising

Electronic Arts is hard at work on GI Joe: The Rise of Cobra, a big dumb action game that ties in with this summer's big dumb action movie.  This is not a negative criticism.  I think we're about due for a game where macho soldiers blow things up in spectacular ways while screaming big dumb shouts à la "Weird" Al Yankovic in UHF.  There's a quick trailer for the game over at EA's website along with some screenshots of the game for basically ever console still in active production.  The game hasn't really been on my radar, but now I have to admit that I'm a little curious about it.  I'd better start practicing my big dumb shouts.
