Everybody faces challenges in life. For Nintendo's Reginald Fils-Aime, the challenge is promoting the Nintendo Revolution. While talking about Nintendo's plans for this year's E3, Fils-Aime said this:
"If you're in marketing, how do you sell the next Super Mario World to a jaded 14-year-old raised on [Grand Theft Auto]?"
Let me tell you something, Mr. Fils-Aime. The next Super Mario World sells itself, and in my humble opinion anyone who is drawn in to another Grand Theft Auto rehash instead of new Mushroom Kingdom antics... how do I put this delicately?... has no soul. Those people are the "dead husk" portion of the market. They will not buy joy and wonderment, and even if they did they wouldn't understand it or appreciate it. Good luck trying to appeal to them though.
